Job Description

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Work with outside data sources and APIs.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
Proven working experience in Android app development.
Have published at least one original Android app.
Experience with Android SDK.
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
A clear understanding of the difference between mobile product libraries, mobile applications and client-specific extensions.
Develop Android apps using Native and/or Hybrid development.
Integrate apps with RESTful web services.

Key Skills Required

Java and Kotlin Programming:Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, the core languages for Android development.

Android SDK:Solid experience with the Android Software Development Kit (SDK) for building apps.

Android Studio:Strong familiarity with Android Studio, the official IDE for Android development.

APIs and Web Services:Skilled in using RESTful APIs and web services to integrate back-end functionality.

UI/UX Design Principles:Understanding of Material Design principles and best practices for creating user-friendly interfaces.

Database Management:Experience with SQLite or Room for managing local app data.
